  Theirs a staff member that had worked there for years. She very disrespectful. I know several women and I have reported her. No disaplinary action has happened. I've been doing they domestic violence for a while and I was treated so badly at open door that I rather sleep in my car until the weather get unbearable before I go back.

  My daughter's Girl Scout troop volunteered their time to make over 850 sandwiches for the needy. The staff were amazing to the girls and even though they worked hard, they had a great time.

  The Open Door Mission shows the love, grace and the power of transformation of Jesus Christ. The staff is wonderful to the families and single people that are of need of food and shelter, not only do they do these services, they offer programs to those trying to heal, trying to overcome bad habits and comfort.
  
  Great place for volunteers also, lots of churches partake in helping out and donating goods to the open door mission. The open door mission is God sent and I hope more places like this can open up around the U.S and around the world.

  Very holistic approach to helping people. Free food, shelter, life changing programs, clothing, counseling, etc. Worth a try for sure.
