  Being at Morning Star makes you feel like you are around family even if you dont know everyone. Pastor Adams delivers the word every time.

  I just recently moved to Omaha about two weeks ago and was looking for a church family. I ended up going to Morning Star Baptist Church on 8/10/14 and let me just say, The presence of God is truly in this place! Rev Dr. Leroy Adams is a phenomenal preacher, he really gives it his all when he delivers the Word of God to you! He is a powerhouse! As for the congregation, the pastor asked if there were any first time guest and I stood up along with another lady, and I would have never believed what would have happened next. They all stood up facing us and starting singing a "welcome song", it made me blush a little bit because that has NEVER happened to me at any church, especially not a church of that size, it is a fairly medium to large congregation. Also, a brother that walked in late and sat in front of me, gave himself to the Lord that day, the Spirit moved him. He was congratulated and hugged by all the men of the church. I know God is love but that church IS LOVE! This was just my first visit but I will be returning!
