  This is my church! I have to say I was hesitant to attend church. Although I loved Jesus, I had yet to accept Him and The Holy Spirit into my heart and life.
  
  My mom began attending this church and taking my boys intermittently. Wow did I see an impact! I live in Shelby, Iowa, and drive 45 min on Sunday's to spend with my church family.
  
  This church is g r o w I n g!!!!! There is every age and religious level in faith. There are various walks of life here, and I have yet to feel judged. Old and young alike sing! You can feel the Holy Spirit running through you! That might seem dramatic, but it's true.
  
  Our Pastor teaches. He preaches. He listens. He guides. Our prayer warriors are with our congregation, in prayer whenever they are needed. Our band is alive and their faith and worship is contagious.
  
  This is not a mega church, so if you come in expecting this, this is not the church for you. This is a place where if you miss church two weeks in a row, people notice and care. They will ask after you. There are homemade cookies and coffee offered and they are made with love.
  
  My boys and I were recently baptized. We are still new in our faith and we look forward to our future!

  I have been coming here for about 6 months now. I have a close friend who lives in Iowa.This is her mom's church. I came out for a visit to see her boys. Don't judge a church by the color of its pews. This church is alive and growing with the passion of the Holy Spirit. Let me explain...I have gone to a mega church for many years and this place is small with community.
  
  I grew up non denominational and e-fee. I thought I would be walking into a bland socially enept experience. We have all been there at one point or another. This place is alive. Tina, the paster's wife leads the praise and worship team The songs are relevant and current. There is a band, they are good. Not overly rehearsed and marketed but talented, I feel instant peace, the message very organic. Once in a while a couple of the guys write their own songs that are singer/song writer genre that make you go... Wow!That is such talent.
  
  The little ladies give you genuine "Avon hugs" not in a desperate way. But loving and caring way. They truly love that you are there. This is a thriving growing community in Christ.
  
  Pastor T.W.sends the word of salvation. He serves the message of Jesus with animated stories that hold your attention. He shares the humor that God has. I have yet to space out.The word is not to condemn you but every week you feel charged for your week to grow spiritually. You don't have to be perfect to walk through these doors. Come as you are the pastor preaches in jeans. This church community doesn't care who your are. They are grateful you came! It doesn't matter where you are at in your journey. We are all broken together.
